The Medical Laboratory Scientists Association of Tanzania (MeLSAT) is pleased to announce that online registration is now open for the 39th MeLSAT Scientific Conference, Exhibition and Annual General Meeting 2026. This prestigious annual event will bring together medical laboratory professionals, researchers, healthcare practitioners, students, policymakers, exhibitors, and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge, share innovations, and discuss emerging trends shaping the future of medical laboratory science.
The conference will be held from 22nd – 25th September 2026 at City Park Garden, Mbeya. It will provide an excellent platform for scientific engagement through keynote presentations, research sessions, exhibitions, professional discussions, networking opportunities, and the MeLSAT Annual General Meeting.
Participants will have the opportunity to enhance their professional knowledge, learn from experts in the field, present research findings, explore new technologies and innovations, and collaborate with fellow professionals committed to improving the quality and impact of laboratory services.
The conference is open to Medical Laboratory Scientists, Laboratory Technologists and Technicians, Laboratory Managers and Quality Officers, Researchers, Academicians, Healthcare Professionals, Students of Medical Laboratory Sciences, and health sector partners who wish to contribute to the advancement of laboratory medicine.
Registration fees are as follows: MeLSAT Members – TSh 150,000/=; Non-MeLSAT Members – TSh 170,000/=; Student Delegates – TSh 100,000/=; and International Delegates – USD 150. Participants are encouraged to register early to secure their participation in this important scientific and professional gathering.
