Medical Laboratory Professionals Week (Lab Week) is an annual celebration of the medical laboratory professionals and pathologists who play a vital role in every aspect of health care. Lab Week is a chance to let people know about the dedication and commitment of Lab professionals to deliver quality health services for the betterment of patient care.
The Medical Laboratory Scientists Association of Tanzania (MeLSAT) which is a professional body for Medical Laboratory Scientists, Technologists, Technicians, and Laboratory Assistants in Tanzania in collaboration with SIMIYU region and TAMISEMI will hold its 10th National Health Laboratory Professionals Weeks Commemoration from 26th to 30th April 2021 at Bariadi City Council ground –Simiyu region.

- Laboratory Training on Quality Management System
- Free Diagnostic tests to the public for various diseases e.g. Diabetes, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Hepatitis and Hb Estimation
- Exhibitions from Exhibitors (Local and International Companies)
- Exhibitions from Health College
- Health Education to the public
- Professional Education from Health Laboratories Practitioners Council and Private Health Laboratories Board.
